That was us.
NERVT supports large-scale public events such as University of Oklahoma football games by providing rapid-response mobility, first aid, and on-site situational awareness. Operating within the established incident management structure, NERVT assists EMSSTAT and other responding agencies in navigating high-density environments and reducing response times.
NERVT operates in a support role and deploys under the direction of event command and local public safety agencies.
We're 100% volunteers—volunteer time, volunteer equipment, no paychecks, no shortcuts. We're out there because we believe helping fans is part of what makes OU game days special.
During OU home football games, we work directly with EMSSTAT to free up their paramedics and ambulances by assisting non-medical game goers with transport and basic first aid. This partnership allows emergency medical services to focus on critical cases while we handle the day-to-day needs of fans.
If we've helped you, given a ride to your family, or assisted your friends, we'd love to hear from you. If you've seen us working the crowds and keeping things moving, consider sharing our page or donating to help us keep this tradition alive.
Your support helps us continue showing up, game after game—supporting OU football and the fans who make it what it is.
Boomer Sooner.
